Martin Dreves Castillo
Martin Dreves Castillo, known as Murt, is a Colombian-German artist whose work is shaped by his multicultural upbringing. Raised in Botswana, Colombia, and Ecuador, and now based in Berlin since 2014, Dreves Castillo’s practice reflects a rich tapestry of cultural narratives, bridging traditional and contemporary artistic approaches.

His artistic journey began in childhood, drawing television characters, and evolved into a dedication to mixed-media painting. He employs oil, acrylic, and chalk to create abstract compositions that explore themes of identity, evolution, memory, and the complexities of human experience.
